Meet John
His love for woodworking started in his teenage years when he was working as a young logger, At that time all he had was just a pocket knife and pair of pliers to tinker with!
John P.'s repertoire has grown and developed since then. In 2004 and 2005 he acquired cabinetry skills in Washington state, and after that he learned the art of building aspen log furniture in Wyoming. In addition to cabinets and log furniture, he has created many unique log pieces over the years, including log bedroom sets and a substantially sized job for Zippo making log display cases.
In recent years his experience expanded to traditional designs, mortise and tenon joints, as well as experience designing and building multipurpose pieces well suited to small space living.
Through all these years John has also gained experience in construction and remodeling, and in June 2017 went full time in carpentry, cabinetry and building furniture.
